Thank
you to Grandma’s Goulash for hosting Succinctly Yours! The idea of this meme is
to retrieve a story from the picture and dock that tale until it's 140 words or 140 characters or
fewer. This week’s bonus word was “zone.”
Although Zeke was nothin’
but a hound dog, he practiced daily to become a water spaniel. Whenever in the
water, he was in the zone. 107
Bri was in the zone when
she did her daily laps in the pool. The elliptical trainer just didn’t give her
as satisfying a workout, and frankly, Pilates has gone to the dogs. 140
Three great stories, each one perfectly-matched to the photo.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sioux!

Thanks, YAM! :)
DeleteI love that photo. The tail that launched a thousand (or at least three) tales.
ReplyDeleteI do, too. Maybe the dog's real name is Helen.
DeleteI can just see Ol' Zeke trying to become a water spaniel was my first place, the gold medal came in second. I don't know why she couldn't play "bring the stick" with it either.
ReplyDelete..
I don't know, but I imagine there's some silly Olympic rule about not throwing gold medals. Maybe I'm wrong. Thanks for stopping by, Jim! :)
DeleteAw, poor Zeke. We all want what we don't have. :) Great stories, Tammy.
ReplyDeleteGood point, Lisa. Maybe there's a water spaniel somewhere practicing to become a hound dog. Thanks for visiting!
DeleteThe third one is my fav. Too funny!
