Writing is like being able to put life into a snow globe. It takes the things that are too big and scary and reduces them into a form that I can put away when I want and look at from a distance. It also takes all that’s good in life and captures it into something I can take out when I want and look at close up and keep forever. It makes the bad things into something I can hold…and the good things into something I can hold onto. Both help so much that I need that little souvenir of life.

Totally Random Tuesday: Put Downs

Carving the people around you into canyons doesn’t make you into a mountain by comparison. It just makes you dirty and low.

  1. It also makes one smutty and low down, not just dirty. But of ocurse, even when presented with the facts and a glaring image in the mirror, these people never see themselves! Peace, love and relaxation. If this is your quote, by the way, add your name, so everyone can quote YOU.

  3. Great words of advice. Like Linda said, you should add your name to the quote.

  4. Thanks y'all! But seriously, add my name? Isn't that redundant and sort of...creepy? To quote myself?
